TeachMeet Brighton, coordinated by Digital Education Brighton, is setting up shop in the Digital Festival and is inviting everyone involved in education to get involved.  It’s planning to go global with presentations not just from Brighton and Hove but also from educators in the Cherokee Nation, Canada and Australia.

TeachMeet Brighton is a great chance for everyone in education to share their experiences and learn how digital technologies engage students and support learning. 

TeachMeets are teacher-led events with teachers, tutors and lecturers sharing ideas about what works in practice.  They are a fun and informal way to share great teaching ideas.

This is the third TeachMeet Brighton organised by Digital Education Brighton.  Last time over 100 educators from the city and beyond attended to listen to amazing, informative presentations - from creating an online record label to using Tumblr to evidence learner portfolios.

There are three ways to get involved:

• Share how you’re using digital technologies to engage students and support learning (seven minute presentation)

• Highlight one activity or product that enhances teaching practice (two minute presentation)

• Participate from the floor - ask questions and be digitally inspired by other educational professionals!
